Mrs. M, as she will be called here, was Assistant Rental Manager Christopher O.’s first customer when he began working for the North Carolina Operating Group in March 2019.
During his first encounter with Mrs. M, Christopher learned she lived alone, didn’t have family around and rented cars for grocery trips and doctor appointments.
Last week, Christopher provided a rental to Mrs. M like only an Enterprise employee would – by going above and beyond.
He asked Mrs. M about her plans for the day, and she immediately started crying. She was terribly nervous about going out in public during the COVID-19 pandemic since she is elderly and has Parkinson’s disease.
“I told her I would get all of her groceries and her medications so she wouldn’t have to expose herself. This was the least I could do for a loyal customer who brings a smile to my face whenever I see a reservation for her. I strive every day to make sure all of my customers are happy and safe.”
Christopher, your incredibly selfless act is an inspiration for us all. Thank you for all you’re doing for your customers and the business!
Today – and every day – the safety and wellbeing of employees, customers and the communities we serve is our top priority. For the latest on our COVID-19 response, please click here.
Strengthening our communities: Picking up the pieces
What would you do if you heard that a tornado with 165-mile per hour winds leveled more than 30 homes in a neighboring community? Assistant Branch Managers Kyle S. and Patrick D. didn’t think twice — they gathered supplies and stepped up to lend a hand.
